Dominican University's Zach Sinn (Winfield, Ill./Wheaton North) led the Stars to wins over No. 7 ranked UC Santa Cruz and Loras during the week and has been named the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Player of the Week on offense.
The junior outside hitter led the Stars with 38 kills (3.45/set) and finished with a .417 hitting percentage. Sinn added 15 digs, six total blocks and finished with 42.0 points during the three matches.
The Winfield, Illinois native hammered nine kills with a .533 hitting percentage against No. 7 UC Santa Cruz and added 18 kills with a .400 hitting percentage in a 3-2 loss to North Central last Tuesday.
No. 11 Dominican (5-2, 1-1 MCVL) will travel to Wittenberg and Mount St. Joseph this weekend.
