Greenville College’s Daniel Bilinski (Placentia, Calif./El Dorado) led the Panthers to a 2-0 start at the Fontbonne tri-match Saturday and has been named the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Player of the Week on offense.
The freshman outside hitter blistered the ball with 35 kills (4.38/set) for a .310 hitting percentage. Bilinski added seven digs and four total blocks and finished with 39 points.
The Placentia, California native totaled six kills with zero errors in a 3-0 sweep of Brooklyn and added 27 kills in the 3-2 win over Fontbonne.
Greenville (2-0, 0-0 MCVL) will return to the court on Saturday at home against Hannibal-LaGrange.
