MCVL, U.S.A. -- The 2022 All-Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League individual award-winners as selected by the nine head coaches were announced today (past winners also listed):

Jason Hascher, Mount St. Joseph (Gr., OH) Miamisburg, Ohio
- Chosen Offensive Player of the Year for the second-straight year.
- League's only two-time Offensive Player of the Year award-winner.
- Named MCVL Offensive Player of the Week two times this past season.
- Stats > 4.16 kills/set (1st in MCVL), 308 kills (2nd), .257 hitting percentage (11th).
- Attended Alter High School.
Hunter Haas, Trine (So., L/DS) Cincinnati, Ohio
- Chosen Defensive Player of the Year for the second-straight year.
- Second two-time Defensive Player of the Year in league history (Fontbonne's Zach Rothstein in 2020 and 2018 the other).
- Named MCVL Defensive Player of the Week twice this season.
- Stats > 3.05 digs/set (1st in MCVL), 198 digs (3rd).
- Attended Moeller High School.
Ryan Taylor, Fontbonne (Fr., L/DS) Aurora, Colo.
- Became Fontbonne's first MCVL Rookie of the Year.
- Stats > 2.10 digs/set (8th in MCVL), 166 digs (10th).
- Played in 79-of-91 sets for the Griffins.
- Attended Grandview High School.
Matt Mihelic, Mount Union
- Led Mount Union to the 2022 MCVL tournament title and resulting NCAA automatic berth.
- Is the only men's volleyball head coach in school history (program started in 2019).
- Guided the Purple Raiders to a second-place finish in the MCVL's regular season.
- Played collegiately at his alma mater, Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Jimmy Stika, Fontbonne
- Led Fontbonne to the 2022 MCVL regular-season title.
- Has guided the Griffins to three MCVL championships (2020 and '22 regular season, and 2021 tournament).
- Is the second Fontbonne head coach to earn Coach of the Year (Ryan LeGrand in 2019 the other).
- Four-year starter as a libero in his undergrad days at Fontbonne.
